Palm Handheld Pre is one of the most popular handheld devices on the market since the buzz around the iPhone. Palm Pre was introduced at the CES 2009 and quickly became one of the most anticipated handheld devices of 2009. The new Palm handheld runs Palm’s Web OS and has multitasking features, new notification system, a physical keyboard and a multitouch screen. All of these factors combined made the Palm Pre handheld the most legitimate rival to the iPhone 3GS yet.
Six months after the release of Palm Pre we’re prepared to answer the all-important questions about every little detail of the handheld organizer.
Well, there are some small performance and hardware issues and we’re concerned about a few missing features of the handheld organizer, but we walked away impressed with the new Palm WebOS.
We found it hard to use the tiny Qwerty keyboard on Palm Pre, having extra-large hands. The lack of an expansion slot is rather disappointing. We’re also a bit disappointed that Palm Pre lacks some basic functions, such as voice dialing and video recording, though Palm has said these features can be added later through an over-the-air update.
The battery life of the Palm handheld organizer is also a concern, although likely no more than it is on the iPhone.
The Palm Pre multitasking functionality and notification system are what make it special and they are areas where the Palm handheld beats the iPhone or any other smartphone on the market right now. In addition, personal-information management is changed in a good way with the new Synergy feature.
The Palm press conference at CES 2009 started off with a walk down Palm memory lane. Palm then revealed their new Palm Web OS followed by their new handheld organizer, the Palm Pre. Palm Pre is an all touch-screen handheld device with the following specs:

I have a 21inch dell ultrasharp lcd, for about a year and a half now. It just today started acting strange. It will suddenly get extra bright and then shut off. The light remains green meaning that it is on. If I try to turn it back on, the image will come and then turn off again a second later. Usually after a few times the monitor will stay on. I tried unplugging and replugging it. The only other thing I can think of is I just got a new HP printer.
I want to quote your post in my blog. It can?
